World Music Day celebrated by CityFm89

The month of June is packed with a great many 'International Days'. There's World Environment Day and International Fathers' Day,two well known anniversaries. But not only these two there’s also World Music Day, celebrated on June 21 every year, a day that's dedicated to indigenous and tribal rhythms across nations and their influence on mainstream music.

The End of the ‘Shaheed’ Era and Family Politics?

Democracy can be clarified as:

Government of people, elected by people, for people.But it’s the fourth time the natives of Pakistan elected PPPP (Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian) which was formed by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who was accused being the murderer of the innocent and got the fruits of his deeds that he was hanged to death in Rawalpindi. The result is pretty much known to the natives of Pakistan  and eventually to the whole world ,what they have given us between these five considerable years.Their constant quotation ROTI, KAPRA, MAKKAN – but we would ask you, have they delivered the three primarily necessities  rather we got deprived of these necessities.

Benazir being elected in the 90’s election twice between which she was exiled, as well as she was bound to house arrest and she started living in England with her kids. Despite the reasons of being exile was none less then the party itself being the most corrupt. Perhaps, the Bhutto family was not apart of the fight against the British government for independence. Nor had they seen the immense struggle of those who participated for the Independence reminiscent of, the father of the nation, Quaid-E-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Liaquat Ali Khan, Fatimah Jinnah etc. Furthermore the blood sheds of our fore-fathers who were innocent yet to profess their lives according to the ISLAM which they and we still consider as a complete code of life.

Yet another innocent got killed

After the death of Shahzaib khan's death another sad event took place yesterday which is currently now being noticed by tv channels and the event was the death of Hamza Ahmed a fun loving 16 year old teen who was was allegedly shot dead by his schoolmate’s guard in the upscale Defence area of Karachi on Saturday, 27th April 

Hunar Womem Entrepreneur Fashion Show and Exhibition

A great event to experience,really nicely done by Hunar creatives. A well managed fashion show with a touch of a live performance by a local band took place in Kuch Khas on 13th of April. There was great atmosphere and toppping it up with clouds and cold breeze. Some famous and renowned artist/writer/storyteller were a part of this event namely MRS.NIGAR,who was also the chief guest for the evening.

Starting of with the host who was full of gupshup,masti and a spice of laughter,the models resembling beautiful butterflies with pretty charming looks,the designers from all over pakistan were there to showcase their work with great artwork and catchy creativeness on clothes,the audience cheering up and supporting every model and designer and of course how can we forget the media fully charged and freezing every single moment of the evening in their cameras!! A great round of applause for Hunar Entrepreneur Pakistan for making this event a memorable one, for providing the new talent a platform and for making people aware of their goals and good cause minds!

The Walking Google – Obaid Ullah Baig

He was born in Rampur, India. His family decided to migrate to the city of lights – Karachi. He belonged to a well respected family.

Al-Mighty had granted him the art of knowledge, the style of delivering a message or a lecture. He had all what one would look up to. Theacquaintance of all most everything, regardless of religious, cultural, political, ethical, historical or economical – he had it all. One can rightly say an encyclopedia of his time. This personality is none other than Mr. Obaidullah Baig. He was one of the most finest and eminent scholar. Not just a scholar but was a media expert too.

His television career started in 1970`s era. He started an informative yet vivacious show called “Kasauti”. This was not done solely by Obaidullah, Iftikhar Arif one of the country’s geniuses joined hands. This was followed by Ghazi Salahuddin in 1990s. This continued till 21st century. In this century “Kasauti” shifted to a private Pakistani TV channel with the name of "Kasauti, Master Mind".The program was conducted by the original host of Kasauti, Quraish Pur.

The definition of being a professional anything is quite candid; for the one searching for where they fit into the world of photography they can have a pretty abstract concept. You’re a professional at something when it’s your profession whereas in the world of photography the word profession may have a more strict definition, unfortunately; it’s not as simple as being a doctor or a therapist or even a farmer because photography is something unique and different. It is basically a hobby or passion turned into a profession and a business later. For some, it’s part-time or non serious thing, for others it’s the source and reason of living side by side. It’s up to them when they cross that line from a hobbyist to a professional ! I m an independent and self taught photographer; love nature and a free spirited person who loves to travel, sketch, paint, music, food, pets and of course capture magic moments through the lens of my camera. completed my BBA (H) from im|sciences .Did my Early education and high school from Peshawar model school and Degree College, Peshawar.

A Promising Rising Star - Ahsan Ali

Music is a powerful mania. It evokes feelings and has the power to bring people together. Music is also a way for people to express themselves and share ideas, whether through poetic lyrics or excruciating anthems. And it can be rightly said “Life, if realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.”

Music is no longer just for pleasure; with the over-night success and fame of some bands/singers the upcoming bands/singers want the same but tend to forget that ‘luck’ is an essential factor. But this does not imply on the very artistic upcoming born under the star sign of Pisces singer ‘Ahsan Ali’. He has attested that you can achieve the limit of success through hard work and zilch besides.

Ahsan started keen at a tender age of 12. With the grip on his vocals Ahsan started his stage performance at 18 years of age. His vocals skills improved while performing in his school and colleges. With passage of years he entered the industry as one of the promising yet diligent singer with soul-proof voice.
