Boxtix motion pictures, a new production company in Islamabad, Pakistan has managed to shot a professional-looking music video of Arslan Asif's motivational track "Chu Loon Mein Aasman" using only the Apple’s video-capable iPhone 4's 5 megapixel camera and an

improvised camera stabilizer that allowed them to shoot smooth, great-looking scenes on the go. Modeled somewhat after the Steadicam — a film industry standard that puts motion-absorbing technologies in between the lense and the camera operator’s body to allow smooth image capture during mobile shots. The video is 80% shoot on the chroma technology with eye catching effects in it.

Having an Apple iPhone 4, I was eager to explore the possibilities opened up by the 720p video recording. Once you get used to having control over focus, exposure and lighting, your ideas begin to form in such a context.The Apple iPhone 4 is not the perfect videocamera for several reasons, including its microphone, which is unsuitable for capturing pro-level audio in many situations. But because music videos are synched to a pre-recorded song in most cases, they’re perfect candidates for iPhone production. All you need to do is record the video cleanly, and that’s where Showdown’s steady cam system comes into play.
