Study/professional background?
Professional photography
How did you got into photography?
I studied photography when I was in school, and my teachers, and classmates appreciated my work. One of the projects I did was featured at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. Since then, I knew I wanted to be a photographer.
What type of photography attracts you the most?
My favorite form of photography is concert photography and macro photography.
Inspiration?
Inspiration can come from anywhere. I don’t believe that one person or one thing can inspire someone. Throughout the years of me trying to be a photographer, there have many things that have inspired me. It could be just someone appreciating my work, or it can be someone trying to tell me I cannot do it.
What else are your hobbies except photography?
I love food. I’m not very passionate about making it, but I’m very passionate about eating it. Recently I’ve also had an addiction to playing Bubble Safari on Facebook. Do not start playing; you will not be able to stop.
Would you like to have interns with you?
Right now, I’m not looking for an intern, but I could be in the future.
Whom are you dying to shoot?
It’s not a who it’s a what. I want to shoot all of the urban skylines in the world. New York being at the top of my list.
Was photography your passion?
It is.
What kind of shoots do you do most?
I have done a lot of concert photography.
Let’s get a bit technical, which camera and editing software do you use? Let us know what you think about the products too.
Camera – Canon Rebel XSi – LOVE IT! Even though this camera is a bit outdated now, I still prefer it over any new camera. My camera and I work well together.
18-55 Lens kit – Decent lens
50mm f1.8 – Great for portraits or when you need a little bokeh
70-300mm f4-5.6 – Not great in low light situations, great for outdoor photography

Who has been supportive while you were becoming a Photographer from your family?
All of my family has been supportive of what I do.
Any person you would like to thank?
I want to thank everyone who has given me the encouragement to not give up and keep going at what I do.
Best event you have covered until now?
Adnan Sami Khan’s concert. The best concert I’ve ever gone to.
One embarrassing /funny moment while you were working?
Trying to take a picture of someone with the lens cap still on… do it all the time.
Any advice for beginners?
Don’t give up.
Where do you see yourself in next few years?
Covering concerts for Coldplay or Taylor Swift.
Any message for your fans? Thanks so much for appreciating what I do, and helping me become what I am today. I love you guys very much!
Thoughts on Lespectra?
It’s a great place to bring Pakistani and Canadian talent together. I’m sure you guys will go very far! Good luck!
