Tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm an aspiring musician from Islamabad. I sing, write my own songs, play guitar, compose and produce music for myself and other musicians. That's pretty much it!
Inspirations?
Many musicians inspire me, both western and eastern. To name a few, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, John Mayer, Led Zeppelin, Pantera.
Being a musician was it a dream?
Music is what I have always wanted to do. I feel lucky to be living my dream today.
You recently released two songs; both of them got a lot of appreciation. While you were in studios and were working on them were you expecting this kind of response from people?
Honestly, I never thought the response would be this great, especially my second single 'Pind' was very experimental. Though I did put in a lot of hardwork, so I hoped it will turn out good. However, the response was tremendous and i am really thankful to all my fans for their support.
Out of sapne and pind which song were you expecting would have been on the charts?
As a musician, I gave both of my songs my best but appearently 'Pind' received more acclaim.
Two songs, completely unique what made you write these songs?
Both songs were driven by the circumstances at the time that I was writing these songs. 'Sapne' was the outcome of post-2010 bombings and target killings accross the country and so it speaks for the people who lost their loved in such incidents. While 'Pind' on the other hand was written earlier this year and the idea was very simple, to walk my listeners through my pind.

Thoughts on:
Naseer
Naseer is my wing man, we grew up together and are more like family. A very hardworking musician, puts in alot of effort in his music and has a very long way to go. We party together, we wallow together, eat together and pretty much do everything together. Now let your imaginations run wild.
Shaheer
Shahee is my partner in crime. I enjoy working with him the most. Shaheer has made a major contribution to all my projects. His work as a musician, as a audio producer, and as a video director is just amazing. He is a multi-talented professional and I respect him a lot.

You have your own studio, tell us a bit about it?
My studio, for me, is the biggest achievement of my life so far. I invested most of my self-earned money in making it and so it is a second home to me. I spend most of my time there making my music or making music for other musicians. It also happens to be the jamming-crib for me and my music mates.
Which genre do you sing most?
I dont limit myself to one genre in particular. From classical to hard rock, from sufi music to blues, I enjoy singing in all genres. I believe a music should have a broad horizon. However, my singles mostly touch variants of rock.
What are your songs about?
All my songs touch different subjects. I believe in producing meaningful music with unique fusions.
Ever met anyone who can be said sort of your die-hard fan ?
It would be unfair to others if I name just one person. But they are all great and I love them.
Funniest thing you ever did and still remember?
Once, I was performing in a school with my previous band and somehow the mic broke down in the middle of our performance. it was embarrasing to be honest but the crowd's support kept us going. We still laugh remembering it.
Any upcoming projects/surprises?
Yeah I am working on a lot of projects at the moment. My new single is coming out this month and there are some other surprises lined up for my listeners. They will be disclosed once the time is right. For now, let's keep them guessing.
Any message for your fans?
Support me, support Pakistani music so that we keep making good music for you.
Views about lespectra?
You guys are doing a great job in promoting Pakistani musicians. Keep it up. Respect!
