Haseeb Shah (It says everything)

A free spirit, capturing magic moments
The definition of being a professional anything is quite candid; for the one searching for where they fit into the world of photography they can have a pretty abstract concept. You’re a professional at something when it’s your profession whereas in the world of photography the word profession may have a more strict definition, unfortunately; it’s not as simple as being a doctor or a therapist or even a farmer because photography is something unique and different. It is basically a hobby or passion turned into a profession and a business later. For some, it’s part-time or non serious thing, for others it’s the source and reason of living side by side. It’s up to them when they cross that line from a hobbyist to a professional ! I m an independent and self taught photographer; love nature and a free spirited person who loves to travel, sketch, paint, music, food, pets and of course capture magic moments through the lens of my camera. completed my BBA (H) from im|sciences .Did my Early education and high school from Peshawar model school and Degree College, Peshawar.

Photography allows you to dwell deep into the creative corners of your mind and explore your own uniqueness. It's somehow different.. yet very relevant. For me, it's a hobby transformed into a profession and I regard it as one of the most dearest things in my life.

Its been almost 4 and half years of my professional work
How I started this profession? well when people love what you do and recognize you as a photographer, when you start making an amount of money or business out of it, you are a professional’. I use Canon 550D ,canon 7D , canon A70 and used Panasonic lumix fz5

I must quote ‘A photographer went to a socialite party in New York. As he entered the front door, the host said ‘I love your pictures – they’re wonderful; you must have a fantastic camera.’ He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: ‘That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove.’ – Sam Haskins

It doesn’t matter what camera you are using, what maters is that you must have the creative spark within!

Projects he has done so far and organizations he is currently working with:

Covered YLC (young leader’s conference). i was chosen as their professional photographer for the year 2011 from all over Pakistan. Youth X-PO.
Covered almost every event around Pakistan.
Won 1st position in world Art and Photography competition.
Working currently with different organizations as their media partner
Including:
Save the children
Aware girls
School of leadership and ofcourse i|msciences
Those who just started photography, don’t be afraid to switch into manual mode. Get out of your comfort zone and practice; the more you practice the more you learn. And most importantly be open to criticism and there you go :)’
